Location: Cataluña, Spain

Three words describe this Geocache of the Week in Spain: GPS. Guts. Glory.

Grimpant per La Mola, or “Climbing La Mola”, is a T5 multi-cache that has geocachers following secret trails across Mola Mountain, collecting clues along the way that will lead them to the final location of the cache.

The journey takes most groups about 5 hours—making the 5 terrain stars well-earned.
Along the way you’ll be forced to shimmy straight up narrow channels of rock, squeeze through holes in outcroppings that barely exist, explore damp and dark caves, and tamp down vertigo while walking along a barely there trail on a steep mountainside.
This is not a cache for the faint of heart.

Soube hoje, através de mail da Groundspeak, que fiz recentemente uma Geocache of the Week e não fiz outra porque li os logs e percebi que andava desaparecida e, apesar de ter feito outra na mesma zona, uns metros atrás, não fui a essa. Vi agora que o container foi substituído no MESMO DIA em que andei por lá. Há coisas do caraças...
E não sabia, em nenhuma delas, que tinham sido Geocache of the Week.

Nesta última por alguma razão misteriosa falta a #0230 de 9/10/2014. Já enviei uma mensagem ao dono da lista.

Curiosidade. Faz hoje seis anos que foi escolhida a primeira.
Na verdade em 6 anos deveriam ter havido 313 caches seleccionadas. aparentemente temos 10 semanas em falta...

Fiz a #7 há 2 anos e ainda não a loguei Mais uma que nem sonhava que tinha sido "premiada". Esta coisa de passar a deixar logs provisórios foi o melhor que podia ter feito.
Curioso que naquela zona até há uma WIG que é fantástica, bem mais merecedora.

Acho que só procurei mesmo a de Sagres... E gostei!
