Se, colocares só o teu nome, no primeiro campo, ficas com um mapa das caches que ainda não fizeste. Super útil, utilizo sempre... até porque depois podes criar uma lista (a partir do mapa) e ordenar por vários parametros, apagando depois as que não te enchem as medidas.

Alguém sabem qual é o critério para o Project-GC considerar um geocacher activo?
Isto porque diz aqui http://project-gc.com/Statistics/Overview que temos 32.635 activos DE Portugal em 2014 e pelo excel do IAAN só temos 21.180 com a data do último log de 2014...É uma diferença excessivamente grande.
O que me leva a pensar que são considerados activos todos os geocachers com mais de n founds/hides independentemente de quando os fizeram o que não faz sentido pelo menos associado à palava activos (@Rui, qual é a designação original em inglês?)

E já agora qual é critério para considerar um geocacher DE um país?

O Critério não me lembro... está explicado algures mas já não sei onde. Acho que tem a ver com a localização dos teus founds, pelo menos é assim que dizem que fazem para determinar o teu Distrito.

Pois. A tradução está correcta, mas não faz sentido. O critério deve andar à volta dos geocachers com pelo menos 10 founds, independentemente de quando foram feitos...

Eu também me parece que já tinha lido algures mas também não sei onde Mas não deve ser longe do que disses. O IAAN devia assumir um critério semelhante...

Auto-challenge-checkers

A few weeks ago we mentioned something we called auto-challenge-checkers without actually saying what it was about. The reason was that we didn't want to promise anything that we couldn't deliver. But now we are proud to present the first step in the auto-challenge-checker-system. For paying members we will now run checkers in the background for your accounts. Challenges close to where you live are tested more often than those far away.

So, how is this data presented then? On maps at Project-GC you will see a green checkbox or a red stop sign depending on if you have completed the challenge or not. Pretty convenient, right? For paying members there has also been a map showing challenge caches only available for a while.

For challenge caches that use our advanced checker image in the cache description you will also see the same green checkbox or red stop sign on the left side when you are authenticated with Project-GC.



The above of cause requires that there are checkers built at Project-GC for the challenges in question. Currently we are up to the impressing number of 8700 challenges covered, which is about 44%. Many thanks to all the script and tag creators who has worked very hard for this.

We do have more plans for the auto checkers, so stay tuned.
