World’s Most Dangerous Vacation Destinations

É uma questão de teres um número equivalente de tubarões agressivos, de cobras venenosas, etc... e deixa logo de ser o que mais mata :-)

Será interessante ter a opinião do Kelux que vive numa das cidades mais perigosas do Brasil e do Mundo e que não deixa de ir às caches por isso

Normalmente são valores e estatísticas baseadas nos homicídios.

Aqui, se nos mantivermos longe dos tráficos (estupefacientes e não só) e não optarmos por uma carreira como profissional de táxi, a expetativa de morrer de velhice é bastante elevada.
Depois, convêm não frequentar bairros catalogados como "locais de desova"... muito principalmente à noite, quando nem a PM lá vai.
Se nos colocarmos "a jeito", vamos perceber que uma vida consegue ser muito pouco valorizada aqui, especialmente por quem não tem nada a perder.

... a malária é um medo inflacionado nos dias que correm e assumindo que se tem acesso a tratamento (como é o caso de São Tomé).

O busílis da questão é que podemos ter malária (ou dengue) sucessivamente... pois o tratamento só resulta para aquela vez e não nos imuniza para a(s) próxima(s).

Iraq


I can easily say that Iraq should be put into the list of the places that are really unsafe for tourists. In order to provide more security for people who come to their country, authorities work hard executing some great projects. It is believed that places such as the Southern Marshland, which lies between the Tigris and Euphrates, will attract tourists from all over the world. Another place, the Arch of Clesiphon, will be reconstructed in the nearest future. It is renowned as the largest man-made brick arch in the world. Certainly, the US and UK try to prevent their citizens from going to this country. Nevertheless some special escorted tours are available for those who have a strong desire.

Egypt


Last year we heard enough news about the uneasy internal situation in Egypt. There are many reasons due to which we can consider this country as one of the most dangerous in the world. Definitely, the capital of Egypt is incredibly insecure place for tourism. But not only the capital is subjected to great risk, such popular attraction as the Pyramids is also undesirable for visit. In November 2013 the Government of the USA issued a special travel warning in which Egypt is mentioned as the country which is not recommended for vacation.

I have never thought before that India could take one of the leading places among the most dangerous countries in the world. But such is the reality. Especially the country is threatening for women who come here. Nowadays we can observe the increase of women violence in India. Some rape cases that are highlighted in the media can state as a good proof of women’s unsafety in this country. It doesn’t mean that the cases of violence occur constantly but still it is the most alarming issue for the locals and foreigners coming to India. This problem caused the reduction of Indian tourism in 2013.

Mali is an African country which attracts people from around the world. It is famous for its numerous sights and events. For instance, Great Mosque of Djenne is worth visiting. The Festival au Desert enjoys the great popularity. It represents music from different countries. In spite of all these opportunities Mali is not advisable for travelling. Frequent military conflicts in the country may threaten to your life. There has recently been a large attack and, as a result, some ancient heritage in Timbuktu was ruined.

Detroit viveu o apogeu da indústria automóvel nos Estados Unidos. Durante muitas décadas atraíu operários de todo o Mundo para alimentar as frenéticas fábricas de automóveis que empregavam centenas de milhar de trabalhadores.
Com a deslocalização da indústria automóvel para a Ásia, a cidade entrou em declínio (para não dizer colapso) com a maior taxa de desemprego (e consequentemente criminalidade) dos Estados Unidos.
Em contrapartida tornou-se num dos maiores paraísos Urbex do Mundo, com dezenas de unidades industriais abandonadas para explorar.
