Hello adventurers,



As part of the next phase of the evolution of the Adventure Lab platform, Geocaching HQ has made some updates to the Adventure Lab credit process, detailed below.



We are still selecting geocachers regularly from those who meet the criteria and are in geographic locations we are targeting for Adventures. Our efforts are to make Adventure creation accessible to as many different creators as possible.
Our first priority is to make sure that Premium members who qualify receive at least one credit. Please use the Adventure request form to request a credit (all credits include up to 5 Locations, unless granted as a business partnership). If you own multiple Geocaching.com accounts, please apply with only one account.
We have removed deadlines for the creation of Adventures. Adventure creation, and Public Adventures, have no expiration date, although if there are issues they may be turned off at the discretion of Geocaching HQ.
We occasionally provide opportunities to receive additional second and third credits. These are based on a random selection (with geographic distribution) and will take place at least two times in the first half of 2021. If you complete your Adventure and make it Public by March 31 or by June 30, 2021, you have the chance to be selected to create an additional Adventure.
For those who receive an email about being awarded an additional credit, this may be a new credit, or one that we have previously provided that has not yet been used.
At this time, we are unable to transfer Adventure Lab credits between accounts. If you do not plan to use your credit, you can simply leave it on your account. No action is necessary. If you know someone who wants a credit, please encourage them to check their eligibility and submit a request through the Adventure request form.
There is no need for users to write in to request Adventure credits or deadline extensions. It is a random selection and there are no deadlines. We are currently unable to fulfill requests outside this format.

Release Notes (Geocaching® app: Adventure pins) - April 12, 2021
With this release, Premium members can see Adventures in the Geocaching® app! Adventures are represented by their own pin type, so they are easily recognizable on the map. Each pin represents an Adventure Lab’s starting location.
Adventure pins in the Geocaching® app are available only to Premium members. Basic members can still complete Adventures for free directly in the Adventure Lab® app.
For Premium members who have both the Geocaching® and Adventure Lab® apps installed on their mobile device, tapping an Adventure pin in the Geocaching® app will take you directly to the Adventure Lab® app via a deep-link and you can begin exploring.
For Premium members who have not yet installed the Adventure Lab® app, your first time interacting with an Adventure pin in the Geocaching® app will prompt you to install the Adventure Lab® app before being deep-linked directly.

Acho que não há nada em contrário. Pelo menos o sistema permite-o. Confesso que encontrei as minhas. Depois de as ter criado e de as ter publicado voltei ao local para as testar. Poderá ser pouco ético mas sinceramente na altura nem me ocorreu essa possibilidade.

Acho que a questão é muito mais do que ser aceite/permitido, é mais ser incentivado/obrigatório.
É praticamente impossível testar a Lab a 100% no terreno sem que fique automaticamente registada como encontrada.

“The Geocaching Adventure Lab app is a new way for geocachers to find and log Lab Caches.

Lab Caches are an experimental geocache type often played at Mega-Events. These caches count towards your geocaching statistics and total finds. In contrast to other cache types, Lab Caches are not required to have a container and can also be located indoors. This allows Lab Cache owners to innovate and test new ideas to make geocaching even more fun!

We are soft launching the Adventure Lab app to the geocaching community, as we continue to experiment with new technologies for Adventures.”

As tuas labs desaparecem do mapa ou continuam a aparecer-te?

Eu tenho as 2 situações. Na primeira série fiz FTF sem querer ao testar.

Na segunda série já sabia e não testei sequer :-)

Ambas as séries me aparecem no mapa.
