Afghanistan


It is necessary to mention that Afghanistan is strikingly fabulous country. Unfortunately, we can’t easily admire its gorgeous sights at the moment. As far as I remember myself this country was out of reach for the tourists. Some years ago it suffered from the Russian invasion and nowadays the Taliban interfere strongly with the life in Afghanistan. Today we can observe such problems as insurgent activities and kidnapping. They can be really dangerous for those who intend to spend holiday in this country. If you can’t resist your eagerness to visit marvelous places in Afghanistan some special tours are available for you. There are such amazing attractions as the Wakhan Corridor, the Bamiyan Valley and Kunduz.

Uma vez vi um ranking dos 10 países do mundo com MENOS visitantes, e acho que a Somália estava em primeiro lugar. Havia três categorias de países nessa lista: os perigosos (Afeganistão, Iraque, Somália), os de acesso restricto pelas autoridades locais (Butão, Coreia do Norte, Turquemenistão) e os infinitamente pequenos... ilhas no Pacifico e nas Caraibas e.... em nono lugar, São Tomé e Principe (que assim continue).

Pessoalmente conheço dois bacanos que fizeram backpacking no Afeganistão (eles não se conhecem entre si, não foram juntos) e divertiram-se imenso.

Mount Everest


I’m sure there are so many people who dream of climbing Everest at least once in their lifetime.
All the attempts made by fearless people were not successful. Only in 1953, Sherpa Tensing Norgayall and Edmund Hillary from New Zealand triumphed over the highest peak of the mountain.
After that time, lots of expeditors mounted Everest at a high risk for their lives.
Sadly, some of the attempts turned out to be fatalities.

Exactamente!
A única coisa que lá existe realmente perigosa é o mosquito que transmite a malária/paludismo.
