What’s the Story: I took this photo on the first morning I woke up inside the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
That morning I woke to the sound of hippos fighting in the nearby river and the sun peeking through the clouds over my Tarzan-style private lodging.

What’s the Story: My visit to Finland with the Visit Finland Tourism Board could not have been more perfect.
After feeding reindeer, snowmobiling and spending hours inside a Finnish sauna, on my last night in Lapland, Finland, I was in for a real treat.
The night I saw the Northern Lights was one to remember and certainly a highlight of 2014.

What’s the Story: Visiting Rio has for a long time been on my ‘visit ASAP’ list.
It certainly didn’t disappoint.
This city has progressed leaps and bounds in 2014 following the World Cup, but large disparity gaps are still an ongoing issue that won’t go away overnight. Touring the favelas in Rio was one of the most educational and insightful experiences of the year.
