Finalmente um top em que eu apareço

Tenho realmente alguns founds em caches arquivadas, algumas inadvertidamente, por ainda aparecerem nas minhas PQs, outras fui lá sabendo que estavam arquivadas e o container até veio comigo (acho que já tinha falado nisto noutro tópico qualquer).

Outra estatística engraçada, e com números bastante mais "gordos", seriam os geocachers com founds em caches antes da data de publicação.

E já que estou em #16 nesta estatística, vou ali procurar mais uma arquivada para passar para #13

Eu também não tenho nenhum problema em logar uma cache arquivada se ela lá estiver. Ainda há uns dias encontrei uma arquivada há sete anos e só não registei o found porque a listing estava locked
Mas gostava de ter acessos aos casos no IAAN não vá algum caso ter sido um engano qualquer...

Arquivada há 7 anos? Isso é muito antes de eu começar a praticar geocaching. Já agora qual era a cache?

Tenho em atraso 422 registos de found online só em caches que entretanto foram arquivadas... (shame on me)

Ora aqui está uma nova funcionalidade que se poderá tornar muito útil.

"New notifiers (Paying members only)
Two new notifier systems has been implemented. Edited logs notifications and FP notifications. Enable the former to get daily emails when someone has edited a log on a geocache that you own. Or the second one if you want to receive emails when someone has added or removed a favorite point from one of your geocaches."

Já activei e depois digo se funciona razoávelmente.

Mas se calhar para o Joaquim, esta parte é mais aliciante!

"Multi Map Compare (Paying members only)
We have finally released the possibilty to compare finds between multiple users on a map. Before, you could only compare two profiles. With this new feature, you can compare up to 11 different profiles at once.

Stat Compare (Paying members only)
Compare some basic statistics between different profiles. You can compare up to 11 profiles at once here as well. Data like number of finds, distinct DT, finds in your home country and so on."

19:35 CET - We had a power failure, which led to database corruption. Working on recovery. Expected to take a few hours.
20:46 CET - Only one corrupt table found after checking all tables (except one that is still running). The table will be dropped and a 20h old backup will be restored. After that, we can recreate the data that has happened the last hours. Still expecting a few hours.
21:39 CET - The old table has been dropped, and the backup is being restored. About 25% of the restore is done this far. After that, the site will open, but the data will be a bit older than usual, and some things might be inconsistent. The rest of the recovery will be done online.
22:19 CET - Something happened to the database engine, not sure what yet. Anyway, the restore was interrupted and I had to restart it. 1 of about 30 GB restored now. The restoring time isnt linear.
22:35 CET - At about 25% again. Hoping to have the site up and running before midnight, CET.
22:50 CET - At about 50%. Wondering where and why it went bad last time.
23:15 CET - Estimating the progress to about 80% now. Still hoping to bring the site online before midnight, CET.
repairing. The site will be quite out of sync for a few hours.

Além das novidades referidas pelo Rui, fiquei a saber que existe uma bookmark oficiais com caches problemáticas

Groundspeak has an official list of Geocaches that they exclude from their statistics. It's now default that Project-GC uses it as well. The list mostly contains Geocaches that are travelling in one way or another, a grandfathered concept. But also some extreme Geocaches that are plotted on the opposite side of the Earth

Abaixo segue um exemplo do que se recebe aquando da actualização de um log numa cache nossa. A ter em conta que o "log entry" aparece como link para se poder seguir até ao mesmo (tal como acontece com a cache e o utilizador).
