If one of your Travel Bugs® disappears from the face of the earth, we will create a new tag for you to use.
Of course it won't be an "Official" Travel Bug® as sold by Groundspeak, but cachers will understand it.
Take a look at the picture for the design.
Text on one side includes:
Trackable Replacement
A "bar coded bug" and
the Travel Bug® number you supply to us at check out time.
The reverse states:
Trackable Replacement. Please treat me as you would a normal Travel Bug® and log its journey's at http://www.geocaching.com.
The original Travel Bug® has been replaced because the original never got moved from one cache to another and its location is no longer known.
Please don’t let this happen again.
Keep this replacement moving by logging it’s travels.

Both items are made from black anodized aluminum.
